Your Special Day at Burncoose House
What makes Burncoose House the perfect wedding venue? Partly it is the surroundings, the backdrop to an exceptional day.
Burncoose House boasts a stunning woodland garden location offering complete privacy. With the house and grounds solely yours for the occasion.
There is a sense of occasion as guests arrive at the house along the sweeping magnolia and rhododendron lined driveway.
Burncoose House provides an elegant backdrop for marquee receptions for up to 150 guests on the lawn. Drinks and canapes can be served in the spacious reception rooms within the house or in fine weather on the front terrace overlooking the spectacular gardens and grounds.
The house is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 50 guests. Intimate wedding breakfasts can be accommodated in the dining room or the beautifully restored conservatory. Both rooms enjoy views out across the gardens and grounds.
Choosing a venue for your wedding is one of the most important things you will need to decide on. We offer bespoke weddings tailored to your personal requirements and therefor do not offer packages. We would be delighted to meet with you and discuss the options available to you.
Bespoke weddings just for you
- Burncoose House is available for civil ceremony followed by a reception or civil ceremony only
- The 30 acres of tranquil gardens provide the perfect backdrop for your special day
- The house is also available for exclusive hire and can accommodate up to 14 guests. Minimum 2 night stay. Price on application
- Marquee receptions for up to 150 guests – £2,750. Venue hire only, does not include marquee
- Ceremony for up to 50 guests and reception for up to 150 guests- £3,740. Venue hire only, does not include marquee
- Civil ceremonies only, tariff on request
- Intimate weddings and elopements, tariff on request
Accommodation
In addition to venue hire it is also possible to hire the entire house for a self-catered stay. So why not extend your celebrations for a couple of days in this luxurious property. Housekeeping and catering can also be provided if required. The house manager will provide a quote for accommodation subject to your individual requirements.

Exclusive Use
Exclusive Hire of Burncoose House is usually from 4pm on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure; however we are happy to be flexible where possible.
Should you book your wedding at Burncoose we will provide you with a detailed list of preferred suppliers. We will liaise directly with your suppliers to arrange timings for the erection of the marquee and delivery of equipment and supplies.
